Maybe we should think about a blogspot that would encompass all fixed gear/alleycat events in Memphis. FixMemphis.blogspot.com or something. Ya know, streamline this thing. That way we're not jumping around to the Downs site and this site. We could also post pics from the Thursday night rides or even a Thursday night destination or route map. Something that would get updated at least weekly, that way we can send a link to all the bike shops and the hightailers and other clubs and more people would get to see this stuff. And maybe I can make more bad sentences.
yeah, I think a common place would be a great idea. I had some ideas once, but I don't really have the time or skills to put them in play. Do you know of anyone with any real web skills? We could maybe set something up that is a little more versatile than blogger.
That would be the business. Right now my mediocre html abilities are in play. I'm able to read code and pick out certain things to change. Hosting and everything is out of my skillz level. My friend Brandon helped set up scenestars.net which runs on the blogger platform so it's a really easy interface to post with but the actual page isn't shite looking. Until then, if anyone wants permission to post on fixmemphis.blogspot.com then let me know.
